FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

CAN I PURCHASE MY VEIL, HEADPIECE OR OTHER ACCESSORIES DIRECTLY FROM YOU OR ONLINE?

As a manufacturer, we do not sell directly to brides, but work with bridal stores worldwide to distribute our designs. Please feel free to visit our Store Locator page to find an authorized bridal retailer. While some salons also offer online shops, we recommend you visit the store in person to enjoy a personalized experience.

DO YOU HAVE A CATALOG YOU CAN SEND ME?

We do not have a printed catalog that we send out to brides. If you would like to see one, please visit our Store Locator page and find a retailer near you.

HOW DO I BECOME AN AUTHORIZED RETAILER?

Thank you for your interest in partnering with Bel Aire Bridal! From our sparkling tiaras and headpieces to intricately beaded belts and romantic combs, you’ll be sure to find beautiful designs to complement your salon’s style. Please visit our Become a Retailer page and fill out the survey form. A Bel Aire Bridal representative will be in contact with you soon.

WHERE CAN I FIND PRICES FOR MY FAVORITE STYLES?

Our authorized bridal retailers can quote prices for you. Please refer to the Store Locator page for a listing of stores in your area.

WHEN SHOULD I ORDER MY VEIL OR HEADPIECE?

Ideally, you should choose these items when you select your gown. This will help you complete a polished, perfect look for your dream wedding! Otherwise, we suggest you schedule a “finishing touches” appointment with the salon as soon as possible. We recommend ordering accessories two - three months before your wedding.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO RECEIVE MY ACCESSORIES?

Delivery time may vary depending on the style. Bel Aire Bridal works closely with bridal stores to ensure timely delivery of your designs. For specific delivery dates, please contact your local retailer.

MY WEDDING DAY IS FAST APPROACHING. WHAT IF I NEED TO ORDER A RUSH?

While ordering two - three months in advance is preferable, we can usually work with authorized retailers for last-minute requests to expedite the styles you love! Most stores charge a fee for rush orders, so be sure to check with them for the final price.

WHAT COLORS DO YOUR VEILS COME IN?

All Bel Aire veils are available in White, Diamond White, and Ivory. Select styles may also be ordered in Champagne, Light Gold, and Blush. Designs with French netting are available in Ivory and White.

WHAT COLORS DO YOUR HEADPIECES COME IN?

Our floral and fabric designs are available in White or Ivory. Metal headpieces are silver plated. A few styles are available in Light Gold. Feather headpiece designs are primarily available in a natural or off-white color that blends perfectly with a white or ivory gown.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN WHITE, DIAMOND WHITE, AND IVORY?

Our White is a bright white and Ivory is a light ivory. Diamond White (also referred to as Silk White) is an off-white color between Ivory and White. Bridal boutique experts can help show you the difference. You should choose the color that best matches your gown (the tulle should disappear when held up to the fabric). If your dress seems in-between two colors, it’s always best to go with the lighter hue.

WHAT LENGTHS ARE OFFERED ON YOUR VEILS? DO YOU MAKE CUSTOM LENGTHS?

Popular lengths for Bel Aire veils are elbow (32 inches) and fingertip (38 inches). Select styles are available in shoulder (30 inches), knee (48 inches), waltz (55 inches) and floor (68-72 inches). We also carry chic face veils and French nets! Should you desire a different length, we are happy to work with your local bridal store to accommodate your request, if possible. We offer cathedral veils (108 inches) for all of our designs. Veils exceeding the standard cathedral length must be special ordered and quoted individually.

WHAT IF I WANT TWO LAYERS ON MY VEIL?

Many of our veil designs are created with single layers. We are always happy to add a second tier for our brides! Please contact your local bridal store for assistance with a customized order.

CAN I IRON MY VEIL?

No, we do not recommend ironing your veil. The tulle we use is very delicate and can easily be discolored, burned, or melted by an iron. It is best to hang your veil a week before your wedding to allow the folds and creases to naturally fall out. (Be sure this is in a safe place away from pets and small children!) After a few days, your veil should look perfect. If a few folds remain, use a hair dryer on the lowest setting and gently blow the folds out (stay 6-10” away from the veil with the dryer).

I WANT TO WEAR A LONG VEIL FOR MY CEREMONY? WILL IT GET IN THE WAY?

A long chapel or cathedral veil is a beautiful addition to your aisle style for the ceremony. One option is to wear a shorter veil with a detachable cathedral that can be removed afterwards. Another strategy is to bustle your long veil to floor length. For charming variety, consider featuring your trailing veil for the ceremony and switching to a fun, shorter veil or glamorous headpiece for the reception. The possibilities are endless!

I WANT A DIFFERENT LOOK FOR MY RECEPTION. WHAT CAN I DO?

We love to suggest our brides invest in a headpiece or veil change over a complete gown switch. Not only is it faster and easier than changing in and out of dresses, but it is a less expensive alternative that can revolutionize your entire style. One of our favorite “costume changes” is enjoying a traditional veil for a romantic ceremony and flaunting a fun “party” veil or headpiece for the reception. Key accessories make multiple styles a breeze on your big day!

WHERE DO I FIND AN AUTHORIZED BRIDAL SALON?

Please check the Store Locator page. Since shops carry only a selection of our full collection, it is best to contact the store before your visit to see if they currently stock the styles you’re interested in trying on.

I WOULD LIKE TO WORK FOR BEL AIRE BRIDAL! HOW CAN I APPLY FOR AN EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY?

Thank you for your interest in joining our team! While we do not always have open positions, we do accept applications on a rolling basis. Please feel free to send your resume and cover letter to careers@belairebridal.com

WHAT IS A TRUNK SHOW?

Trunk shows are named after the way merchandise was historically transported from salon to salon—in trunks! Nowadays, these special events allow brides to view a larger selection of a designer’s styles than is normally carried by a bridal salon. A Bel Aire Bridal trunk show gives you the opportunity to create your wedding day look with a wide variety of veils, headpieces, and belts. Most events are held on weekends. To find a show in your area, please view the Trunk Shows page for upcoming dates!
